Cafe layouts

I've added three attachments with some alternative cafe layouts for comment. All try to re-work last years layout (also attached) to increase the venue capacity. All have pros and cons.
PLAN 1 (last year) - not enough space for punters. Access /exit messed up by health and safety bods.
PLAN 2 - Cafe servery small and could cause congestion around entrance. Good capacity and stage/screen arrangement.
PLAN 3 - Solves cafe issues from 2 but capacity is poor.
PLAN 4 - Good cafe servery and techie arrangement. Poor site lines to some seats. Good capacity.

Plans 2 and 4 seem to be the way forward. Thoughts please...

Comments on plan 2 - having an aisle between the seating and the stage might make things seem a bit distant? also it could be quite annoying if people kept walking past the stage when someone's performing! although apart from that sight lines look good and i like the seating and table layout.
plan 4 - looks good, more intimate, although screens aren't so well placed - but maybe that's good for general ambience as visuals aren't all focussed in one place. will having the servery there cause congestion in the fire escape route or is that ok?

How big a difference would the loss of capacity in 3 actually make? It looks to me as though it's only 2 tables, or 8 seats, down. In exchange for that it gives the scope for the cafe to operate unobtrusively when there's an act on, which might be a help.
One nice thing about 3 is that the space outside the screens could be possible installation points if we wanted, since they're not fire routes. Might this be worth exploring with one of the art groups?
Purely selfishly, it would also be an easier layout for the "places" service idea, with projection and visuals linked - 4 might make that quite a challenge.

I think 4 is the one to go for - when ben, sue and i met up we pretty much drew up something similar... Do you find this valuable?
